By far the worst part of this book was the writing itself. He was ordered to go on dates with the women who were suspected of being ‘Breathless’, a female serial killer. And there was an evidence linking Lucy to this case, so he kept pursuing her in an attempt to find out the truth. Lucy pretended to be a nurse and Quinn gave false information to her that he is a widowed plumber. They seemed to start off hot, but then kind of fizzled. It's so obvious the author always knows what the readers want. She had decided to online date as research for her new novel. When she finally needed one last victim, she accepted a date with Quinn just to see if he would fit.Quinn Mc Intyre is an undercover cop working on a serial murder case.
